This DIY Natural Repellent Will Get Rid Of Ticks Easily

When the warmer weather arrives, so do the pests and while the prospect of being forced to deal with cumbersome insects might be annoying, we are here to provide you with a helpful remedy for one of the most common summertime pest issues that we are made to endure.

If you or a loved one regularly experiences a problem with ticks, we can provide you with a great do it yourself remedy that will keep them from putting a major damper on all of your warm weather. Did you know that you have the ability to easily mix up a formula that allows you to destroy ticks naturally?

We all want to avoid the usage of overly harsh chemicals at times like these, especially those of us who have pets or small children running around. You are probably already very aware of the awesome power of cedar when it comes to driving the moths away, but cedar can also assist you with your tick issues as well.

When ticks are exposed to cedar, their bodies dry out from the inside and their insides turn into liquid. All you need to make your tick skin repellent are a few simple ingredients that can be found with ease. Some distilled water, some witch hazel, some rose geranium essential oil and a little bit of cedar oil is all it takes.

Grab a spray bottle to place your mixture in and grab 1/3 cup of distilled water. Add a tablespoon of the witch hazel, as well as 20 drops of both the geranium essential oil and the aforementioned cedar oil. Don’t spray the face or any sensitive areas and if you need an alternative, swap out the distilled water for a full cup of regular water.

From there, add the same 20 drops of cedar oil and two cups of white vinegar to the cup of water. This is the perfect bug spray for pets or children who have overly sensitive skin. Be sure to pass this awesome do it yourself remedy along to your closest friends and family members.
